FreshQuit — Privacy Policy

FreshQuit ("Quit Nicotine Pouch Tracker") is built and operated by Hexar ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address (and name, if you provide one) through our authentication provider, Clerk.
• Usage log data you enter. Your pouch log entries, taper plan settings, streaks, milestones, and related in-app activity are stored on our servers so they sync across your devices and power your statistics and coaching.
• Purchase information. If you subscribe, our payments partner RevenueCat processes your purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier to manage your subscription entitlement. We never see or store your payment card details; payment is handled by Google Play.
• Device information. Basic identifiers and diagnostics needed for the app to function and for us to fix crashes and bugs.

AI coaching

The in-app coach generates messages based on your logged pattern. To do this, relevant log statistics are processed by our AI provider at the time of your request. Your data is not used to train third-party AI models.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not share your data with third parties except the processors named above (authentication, payments, hosting, AI), each bound by their own data-processing terms.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings inside the app, or by emailing us; deletion removes your log history from our servers.

After deletion we retain a one-way hash of your email address, which we cannot use to contact you or recover your address, together with the number of free AI-coach requests that address had used, solely to prevent abuse of the free tier through repeated account creation.

Age

FreshQuit is intended for adults aged 18 and over who already use nicotine pouches and want to reduce or quit. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
