Pawfolio — Privacy Policy

Pawfolio ("Pet Health Tracker: Dog & Cat") is built and operated by Hexar ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address (and name, if you provide one) through our authentication provider, Clerk.
• Pet data you enter.Your pets' profiles and the health records you log — weights, medications, vaccinations, vet visits, symptoms, and related notes and photos — are stored on our servers so they sync across your devices and power reminders and trends.
• Purchase information. If you subscribe, our payments partner RevenueCat processes your purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier to manage your subscription entitlement. We never see or store your payment card details; payment is handled by Google Play.
• Device information. Basic identifiers and diagnostics needed for the app to function and for us to fix crashes and bugs.

AI features

Some features generate suggestions or summaries from the pet records you log. To do this, the relevant records are processed by our AI provider at the time of your request. Your data is not used to train third-party AI models. Pawfolio provides general care tracking only and is not a substitute for veterinary advice.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not share your data with third parties except the processors named above (authentication, payments, hosting, AI), each bound by their own data-processing terms.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings inside the app, or by emailing us; deletion removes your pets' records from our servers.

Children

Pawfolio is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
